I know I haven't updated on this for awhile now, but our new home is coming along nicely. We're expecting a closing date of mid November. It's framed and the roof is actually complete now also, aside from shingles.

I'm standing in the front part of the living room toward the back of the house, Ayla is in the dining room near the front door. The kitchen and master bedroom is to the left. There are stairs to go down and bedrooms to the right.
On another note...we're moving into an apartment for a few months. It's really weird, I haven't lived in an apartment for 10 years. It's okay, nothing luxurious. It was really hard to find a place where we could bring our two large dogs AND do month to month leasing. So now we have linoleum, brass fixtures and neighbors who smoke, woohoo!! Sigh. Really, it's just a few months...no big deal. Oh, the bonus - we have a pool!!
